Highly recommend South Shore Recovery to anyone looking to take that step and reach out for help. Best decision I ever made when I realized I had a problem with alcohol. The staff is amazing, caring and supportive if anyone showed me what family is supposed to look like it’s them. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me on this journey they truly do care about your well being. I spent six months in their PHP and IOP programs, and from start to finish, I felt nothing but genuine care and support. The staff are absolutely incredible — compassionate, understanding, and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate your needs.
The environment itself is peaceful, clean, and truly healing. It’s a place where you can breathe again and start to rebuild yourself. The groups were not only helpful but often inspiring — a mix of education, honesty, and real connection.

great program - i know the staff here help with not just addiction, but the mental health struggles that cause addiction too. the owners genuinely care about every single client and have lots of experience in this field. would recommend this program to anyone struggling in massachusetts or elsewhere!

Hello my name is Wayne i was a client/student at South Shore recovery for about 3Months I've graduated on April 12th, 2024. It was the best experience I've encountered that impact my recovery from the disease of addiction. The clinicians where very educated in there field and was very dedicated on helping the students to recovery by anymeans, from this epidemic of drug addiction. I've learn a tremendous amount of coping skills to encounter trauma. Anxiety, anger, abandonment, resentments, shame ect. I was able to complete my journey through South Shore recovery center because I was willing to make a change in my life and they gave me the tools to achieve that task. I would definitely recommend South Shore recovery center to anyone who's willing to make a change.

This place has given me so much more than I could have ever dreamed & hoped for! The knowledge and tools for a successful recovery isn't even half of what I've received from the amazing staff! From the owner to the clinicians, case management team, & doctor... I was treated like family from day one! Their professionalism, knowledge, training, attitudes, and exceptional level of care and attention is second to NONE! If you're seeking recovery, come let these remarkable people love you until you can love yourself! Healing and recovery is possible! If they can save ME , they can save anybody! I spent over 30 years in active addiction and felt beyond hopeless. Today I feel... REBORN and more alive and hopeful than I EVER believed possible! Don't give up before the miracle happens!

Great staff! From the program Director to the case workers and clinicians. I Felt secure from the first initial phone call which in my own experiences is a very touch and go moment. Over the years I have been to many facilities where their only objective is to get you out the door and fill the seat as fast as they can. This was not the case with South Shore recovery! Not only are their comprehensive classes easy to follow and packed with great info but the small class room setting really makes it very intimate. I have also decided to extend my treatment past their (php) program. I would recommend this program to anyone who is really serious about getting sober!
